When it comes to women’s pelvic health issues, it is never “just a pelvic floor problem!” The surrounding “neighborhood,” including the lower back, hips and thighs, can be affected by and, in turn, can affect the pelvic muscles! Shared innervation, musculature, and connective tissue (fascia) can contribute to:
- A strong urge to urinate
- Frequ

Walking the dog, bicycling, dancing, gardening, hiking, practicing yoga, golfing, swimming, and even shopping are examples of exercise that do not require a trip to the gym. Even everyday activities like vacuuming, doing laundry, and mowing the lawn contribute to a healthier you.
Having a commitment to moving your body, regardless of your location can be beneficial in getting your body healthier.
